The Need

Research conducted by Barna Research Group surveyed 2,632 adults and asked the question:

“At what age did you become a Christian?”
The results reveal an important truth:

43% accepted Christ before the age of 13
21% accepted Christ between ages 13–17
13% accepted Christ between ages 18–21
23% accepted Christ after age 21

This means 64% of believers came to Christ before the age of 17.
These statistics highlight the critical importance of teaching children the Word of God at a young age. Sunday School plays a vital role in shaping faith during these formative years.

Our Initiative

To help equip churches and Sunday School teachers, we are developing a comprehensive Sunday School curriculum in the Telugu language.

This curriculum is being prepared with the help of Bharat Sunday School materials, adapted and translated for Telugu-speaking children. The translation work has already begun and is progressing quarter by quarter, with the goal of completing the entire curriculum within 5-6 months.

Available Formats

The Telugu Sunday School curriculum will be made available in multiple formats so that churches and families can access it easily.

Print Format

Printed books will be available for use in churches, Sunday schools, and homes.

Digital Format

Mobile Application
A mobile application is planned so that lessons can be easily accessed on smartphones.
The app will be available for download from the Google Play Store, making it simple for teachers and students to study anywhere.

The curriculum is organized into four main levels, each designed for a specific age group.
